Two things are going to limit you in big ways: frontal limitations (think having a tall box compared to your PUP) and tongue weight.
To give you a better gauuge,, I have a very capable older F-150 with 9,500 lb tow rating. I've run the numbers every which way but Sunday and a 6,500 lb loaded TT is my limit when considering tongue weight and cargo weight. The TT that you are looking at is right in the sweet spot for an F-150 and way over that for an Explorer.
