Just take a look before pulling in to make sure you can get out. If you cannot just back out the same way you pulled in and get your passenger to stop traffic. No worries.
We have it easier here in Ontario... have you ever seen the steep grade to get in and out of a lot of gas stations in most of the US between here and Florida, yikes! I would be terrified of bottoming out the trailer on most of those entrances / exits.
