Towing mirrors....
Recently I changed out my little stick on fish-eye cheapy tow mirrors...the ones I replaced the originals with make the cars in the parallel lanes appear "farther away then they really are"...ob...

Thanks Russ..I hope that's the case... my last set was just so
"comfortable" that these are disappointing. I'll give it some
time...just had a recent right side incident where the driver
sped up and stayed along side my 5ver even after the turn signal
had been on well in advance of my intended lane change...
I thought they were still way back and the fish eye distorted the distance.
...good thing I drive like a nun.
I'll give these lenses some time yet... as you indicate, driver error.
