Welcome Neighbor from New Beige. This summer, we pulled our trailer, which is bigger than yours, 3500 miles in 2 weeks, with a 4 cyl Turbo Diesel. I think you should be fine with a V6. Get a good weight distribution and sway control. And, on the hills, just take your time.
By the way, I retired the Jeep from towing the big trailer after that 3500 miles. Biggest thing was comfort. Got myself a Ram 1500 with the V6 diesel. Lots of room for us now.
