Thats what I have and I enjoy it very much
2010 rav4 sport V6 and a 2007 10' flagstaff 208. weighs around 2500 ready to camp.
The rav doesn't even know it is back there. And I REALLY mean that...zero sway, super stable. I have to use cruise because it has no problem climbing over 70 on the highway before you notice it. I set cruise at 65.
If it weighed over 3000lbs it still wouldn't bother it...he will have a great combo...fuel sucks but who cares..I certainly don't anyway...life.
One thing that they should make sure of since they do not have a hitch yet is GET the factory toyota hitch. After market hitches attach at 4 points, the factory hitch has 16 attachment points...it costs more but who cares...DO IT.
and I don't pack light. Wife and 2 kids...3 bikes on the roof of the rav, canoe on the trailer, firewood and mini fridge in back of rav and trailer jammed.
It is a Superb TV for a popup
and we take it yearly through the white mountains of NH...works flawlessly
