towing rpm
I have a 2004 dodge CTD with 3.73 rear end when i tow my 5ver in tow haul mode my rpm,s are runnibf 2500 rpm at 60 62 mph, sound about right? truck is a 4speed auto

That doesn't sound right to me. No way would I want my engine running that high. I have the 4:10 gears and it runs about 2000 RPM @ 68mph. My friend has the 04 like you have with 3:73 gears and it runs about 1750 at that speed. My guess is that you are using tow haul mode which doesn't allow it to shift up like the 05 does. If that's the case, take it out of T/H and see if it will shift up.
