If it's rated to tow 7000, I might do it... but I'd keep it under 60 mph and I'd not push it when climbing steep grades.
No such thing as a temp read out from the tranny, but it is cooled by the engine coolant too, I believe.
Would a scangauge or similar work. The temp must be monitored somewhere.
