I towed a 93 Award TT, 27ft. total length, 5k lb GVWR with a 95 4dr Explorer with the 4.0, 3.73 gears, tow pkg and a 5k lb tow rating.I never had a problem. It handled good and had decent power here in the Midwest. Not sure I would've wanted to tow it in the mountains! But it was stable and performed great!
