Towing without trans cooler?

Go get a Scan Gauge II from Autozone and watch the trans temp yourself instead of guessing. About $150.00 and can save you THOUSANDS on a new transmission. If you see the temp creeping up to 210 plus you should think about stopping and letting the rig cool.

If you overheat the tranny some stop the rig and let the truck idle and cool the tranny down.
