Do you have a smart phone? If so, you can get an app such as Torque Pro or I believe it is Dash Command (for iPhones?). You then just need to get a "dongle" to plug into your OBD connector and use your bluetooth on your phone to connect to it.
You will hopefully then be able to see the tranny temp plus many other things. I have Torque Pro and think it is a great app, but for what ever reason it actually doesn't allow me to see tranny temp on my van. I can choose probably 100 other things, but not tranny temp.
I think I have about $20 invested for the app and dongle.
