Towing
My F450 is equipped with a stock class V hitch. Am I correct in that I would only need a TorkLift SuperTruss Extension Bar to be able to tow? Thanks, John

Thanks. I see that now looking at the Torklift hitch.
I currently am using a homemade extension of 2" rectangular tube stock to tow my kayak trailer. I have installed 2 stabilizing changes from the end of the extension back to the installed hitch and this arrangement works well for that application (negligible cargo and tongue weight). Could I install two more stabilizing chains to this arrangement and flat tow a small vehicle or would you suggest moving to 2 1/2" stock and fabricate an new extension? No need to go with the Torklift since I already have the class V hitch.
