Toyo 18" tire with over 4k lb rating

I was just scanning tire specs and found a tire that would prevent a lot of overweight rigs due to tire limitations.
Toyo Open County AT2 in 285 or 295 18" is rated for 4080 lbs and is 10 ply. This probably comes close to some 19.5"
Anyone have these tires and if so, how do they work?
Any other non 19.5" out there with a similiar rating?
More importanty, what wheels are rated this high?

  • Yes, I run them. 285/75-18 at2. '05 f350.
Yes, they are rated for more than the wheels. Given a choice between a wheel stronger than a tire, or a tire stronger than the wheel, I go with a stronger tire every time... ;)

As far as the tire goes, I like them a lot. Slightly louder than I expected but still quiet with the windows up. They track well, made in the USA, and from what I can tell so far they are tough. If you are regularly going to push them weight wise though, a 19.5 will be safer and probably wear a lot longer. But for an all around tire on a stock size wheel they are hard to beat.

    k.
  • If you could find similar strength wheels you might have something.
