bowler...With my '08 4X4 DC 5.7L towing a 6K dry/approx. 6,800 loaded '11 Keystone Outback 250RS, I've averaged 9.5 to just short of 10.0 on hauls ranging from 400 to 1,500 miles. But I've also got short of 8.0 in strong headwinds. I'm a conservation driver (eg. maximum 62 MPH on the highway as a regular practice).
My around town driving per tankfull will range from 12.6 for short hops in the cold winter periods, to 15.6 with more "suburban" driving stints in spring and fall.
