And FWIW, I think it is CRAZY to question "who buys a pickup for MPG". Most people are concerned with it. And it will become more important in the future. - Maybe again when Cali gas hits $6 if pickups are still on sale there, or $4.50 a gal in most of the rest of the country.

More than you think, depending upon that person's needs. My current one is the most mpg oriented one I've owned. Most I've worried about, but not really.
