Maybe, but most likely these Tundra owners won't believe, try doing some simple
math without having to actually weigh your Tundra (or what ever 'half ton'
you wish to use...maybe the fake half ton will look more like my 17 year old
3/4 ton)
Take your own drivers door label and post back these ratings:
FGAWR
RGAWR
GVWR
Forget about MTWR and GCWR for a moment
Here are my 1996 Suburban's
4,250 FGAWR
6,000 RGAWR
8,600 GVWR

How does your 3/4 ton Tundra match up?
There was a guy who owns a Tundra who constantly said as good as a 3/4 ton
and even bragged that his diff was as stout because his ring gear
dia was close in dia to a 3/4 ton's....then a short while back he
came back and still bragged about how much his Tundra's diff was as
good, but admitted that he did have to replace the ring gear because
it wore out.
Still bragging because it was simple and a normal wear and tear item...
I'd like to hear back from that guy with his Tundra's RGAWR
Not just Tundra folks, but most any half ton herd folks. Now if they have the
fake half ton with +8K GVWR, then they are 'almost' fully a 3/4 ton, by today's
3/4 ton standards
