TR Camping, hiking, fly fishing on the Carson River

Great trip report...makes me miss the west even more. We were transferred from Camp Pendleton to Virginia Beach upon my return from Afghanistan...worse yet we bought our new Lance enroute to the east coast so we didn't get to enjoy all the places we'd hoped to visit while we were in CA...hoping to return in 2-3 years to finish my career and retire.

Loved seeing the aussies as well...my black tri male loves going places and exemplifies the phrase "stickest closer than a brother":)!!!
