I just went to the Delorme website linked above and both of the InReach models they show have this disclaimer with them.
"Estimated availability is 5 – 8 weeks.
This device has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. This device is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained."
What is up with this....maybe new models that have not be approved by the FCC or ???
