I am in possession of both trucks, but, I have the option of "selling" it to him for 10k. I got that option in writing before leaving the dealership - good thing too as he had to be reminded of that contingency.
I just spoke with him about redoing the bill of sale to show my truck as a trade-in. He won't do that.
I'm more lost than ever! Not figuring how both trucks can be in one place, I guess.
I can't even figure out how/if the dealer's even seen the old truck, since it's (still?) in Washington...
But since it is, and it's too late to use it for a trade on the new truck, his ten thousand dollar offer may be a good one, if you can get the truck there. That's assuming that offer firm, not "subject to a bunch of conditions" once it gets there.
