Trailer Brakes,, Direct Link or Tekonsha P3 or ??

I have used the P2 for 9 years and have not experience any of issues brought up by GdeTrailer. No bumping or banging in stop and go traffic. I have never turned the boost off while backing up.:h

I think was a little defensive toward RCMAN who stated "So you are an expert on the functionality of the P3 but have never used one". He never said it was the best or better than DirectLink.
