Trailer braking display F150

I am towing with a 2017 F-150. It has a ford braking controller. When you use the hand control, the display on the dash shows the amount of brake gain applied with the hand control.
When the foot brake is used the gain appeared on the dash display, then the display quit showing the gain.
Is it standard to have the foot brake to show the gain?

Depends on which "tow tab" you have up in the display. Just like you can scroll various MPG displays, towing has the same thing.
  • Are you saying the display used to show the gain when you use your foot, but for some reason it no longer shows when braking?

Or are you saying the display only shows the gain for a short period of time when your foot is on the brake. But if you use the hand control the gain is displayed the entire tine you are applying brakes?
