- myredracerExplorer IIMother's synthetic marine wax is what I settled on after doing online research a few years ago. I figure if it's good for a harsh marine environment it's got to be good for an RV. Easy to use - just wax on, wax off. No laborious power buffing needed. Doesn't take long on our 29' trailer - after the exterior has had a good wash top to bottom.
I also use Aerospace 303 Protectant on all the decals and plastic trim. It's a highly recommended product by a LOT of RV-ers. I spray some on a rag and wipe the decals with it, then do the waxing afterwards. - djsamuelNomadNuFinish
- RavensFan24ExplorerMeguiar's Marine Wax is great. I used a buffer to apply and remove and it worked great. Didn't take TOO long to do a 30' trailer.

I just did a couple of searches:
"wax" got 1081 hits
"polish" got 267.
Is that better ??
P.S. As I see it, part of the moderators job is to help new users get the most out of the site. If YOU don't do it, someone else will. - beemerphile1ExplorerI would be interested in an easy on - easy off treatment. I have never waxed a trailer and have only waxed a car a couple times in my life.
I have read that you should not wax the vinyl graphics. - GrandpaKipExplorer II

I musta missed the entertainment this morning. Darn. - gmw_photosExplorerI use Turtle Wax on the front cap, because it's gel coat surface seems to oxidize pretty quickly. The Turtle wax has a little more "cleaner" in it.
On the sides and back I normally use whatever meguiars I have on the shelf ( I use that on the truck ). I apply usually with a random orbital, and buff off with a rotary buffer. The power buffers make it a lot less work.
....but....my trailer is only 19' long too, so it's not in the same league of square footage as a big fifth or class A. - Community AlumniI use Nu Finish on the fiberglass body and Aerospace 303 on decals.
