Hopefully you have turned off the city water source. Is your fresh water tank full? We don't know what kind of trailer or hookups you have. Is your fresh tank a separate gravity fill, or does it fill from the city water source, by using a bypass? A little more info would be helpful.
I would just use the tank and pump, till you get it figured out. If you have a leak somewhere, you will notice the pump run a little, when the water faucets are turned off.
