Trailer or toy hauler w/ good front and rear window + slide?

I am looking for a bumper pull travel trailer or toy hauler that has good front window, good rear window, and a side slide to open up the interior. Trying to stay as short as possible, but it looks like will end up at 30'+.

Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

I ruled out Airstream and Big Foot. Although they have models with great front and rear windows, they don't have a side slide.

Some previous suggestions included Rockwood (2604 and 2608), Flagstaff, V-lite, and Lance 2385.

Keystone Raptor has a couple of v-nose toy haulers (26FS and 30FS) that have front windows and side rear windows. I would need to retrofit something on the back if I want windows across the back. Maybe some custom barn doors with windows.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thank you.

  • If you want to stay in the 26'+, 30' bumper to ball size, we have the Rockwood 2604. It has a rear living area/kitchen area with a large rear window and 4 windows on the slide with the sofa and dinette. I believe they're only making the 2604WS, which is a slide in the bedroom with the large closet area. We didn't know it was available when we bought, but would not have chosen the slide regardless. There are 2 smaller wardrobes and they are quite sufficient for our needs. Does bikes = kiddos?? If that is the case, you may not want to make up the sofa (air mattress and very comfy) or dinette every night. It's just the two of us and it's perfect. When we have guests, very rarely, the sofa bed is fine but I wouldn't want to do it every night. The bedroom in the front has a rock guard over the window and it's a good size. You could certainly open that for more light and visability. We do love the 2604 and it's got a good fit and finish. Love the large bathroom with excellent linen closet. Might be worth taking a look online. Happy shopping.
  • If you don't need bunks, take a look at Flagstaff 831FKBSS or Rockwood 8315BSS.
    (same floor plan)
  • I also came across Open Range RV which has these floorplans with front window:

    • Light LT305BHS
    • Mesa Ridge MR288FLR, MR320RES
    • Roamer RT288FLR, RT320RES
    • Journeyer JT340FLR

What kind of toys are you hauling?

Traditional toy haulers have a large rear ramp door and I've never seen a window in that door. I don't think anyone wants to drive over the glass. Would something like this work?

    Thank you.

Small, light stuff that can be lifted in - mostly bicycles. That was the thought on converting the rear ramp of a toy hauler to rear barn doors with windows.

The Outback 310TB floorplan above is nice except I don't think it has a front facing window.

Check out the Forest River V-Lite Travel Trailers...

Example- Model 26WRB- 29'7" long, V-Lite Travel Trailers Flagstaff...The V-nose gives it a wind cheating front nose and 2 big front windows AND a big rear bedroom window!

Plus a dinette slideout. A huge "L" shaped kitchen, front living room "lounge", under 7000 lbs loaded, good sized holding and fresh water tanks, AND a Fully high pressure vacuum Laminated Aluminum Frame (Floor, Sidewall, & Roof)
with Insulation Factors R-7 Side Wall, R-12 Floor and R-14 Roof...very good!

Good luck! P.S.-I just Googled Travel Trailers with big front and rear windows!

Thank you. I will check out the 26WRB.
