Sitting on the throne should give you ample time to figure it out.
What does being a Trump supporter or vice versa have to do with this story or this thread? - Ralph_CramdenExplorer II

Trump supporter? Why is the story about what caused this fire such a big deal?
And I suppose you still believe in the Tooth Fairy also.2oldman wrote:
I guess they feel reasonable people will take them at their word without having to resort to a treatise on irrefutable forensic evidence. I'm sure if they find their original assessment was false they will correct it.
What does being a Trump supporter or vice versa have to do with this story or this thread? These boards are the greatest, they make my entire day every morning when I sit on the throne and fire up the phone. ROFLMAO. - rbpruExplorer IIObviously we will never know for sure what started the fire.
My flat TT tire really smoked but never flamed and the rim never sparked on the ground. However, that does not mean it could not.
Coming from California, I am would not be surprised, if they blamed the next fire on alien spacecraft exhaust. :) - 2oldmanExplorer II

I can't wait for CA to mandate aluminum wheels ;)
May as well.....they mandated or regulated just about everything else. I'm shocked they have not ran out of stuff to regulate by now LOL. Funny they have not outlawed wildfires, stroke o the pen, problem solved.
We can buy stuff on the East coast that comes with CA BS on the labels. - OregonTRX4ExplorerYou can find pictures from when the fire first started of the suspected travel trailer through a google search. The trailer with the blowout was parked on the side of the road with the fire starting from that area. Fires start all the time near Redding from the most simple of things. It is a very dry area and 100+ temps with low humidity is very common all summer long. edit to add photo gallery with suspect trailer https://krcrtv.com/news/shasta-county/firefighters-battling-multiple-fires-near-whiskeytown

yep! Happens often around here.
I have seen many wheat field fires around here that have been caused by blow outs and over heated wheel bearings. blow outs that cause the rim to come into contact with the road surface and sparks are flying will cause a filed to catch fire in a heart beat - I can't wait for CA to mandate aluminum wheels ;)
- 2112Explorer IIA train with a bad wheel caused 3 separate grass fires along a 10 mile section of track near our property years ago. Sparks were spewing from the wheel on a dry, hot, windy day. And the grass line is what, 20 ft or so from the actual track?
I had a blowout at night and didn't know it until the next day.
