Trailer Tire Pressure Monitors

Anyone have any experience with trailer tire pressure monitors? Looking on amazon they range in price from around $60 up past $300. Any brands seem to be better than the other? Is there a difference between the cheaper ones and the more expensive ones?

  • Are these for use on a Travel Trailer also? Every video I've seen shows their installation on a Class A Motor home. Installation always shows to add the entry for either the left or right front wheels. Since there isn't any wheels being steered, can you just bypass those entries and go to the other wheels? In my case it would be four non-steering wheels like on every two axle trailer.
  • I also have the TST 507. It’s very easy to use and set up. I think the new ones now have a color monitor.

TST has a big following and good support. I've had the TST 507 system for about 6 years. Pressure Pro is another one, Tire Minder seems to be popping up with good reviews on this forum too. Lot of new brands popping up lately, can't say good or bad about them
