Trailer Tires...trusting the Goodyear Endurance?

I had ordered the Carlisle Radial Trail HD in a D range. There was a shipping problem. Discount Tire is stepping up to the plate offering the (in stock) GY Endurance tires at no additional price (from $57 to $108 / tire).

Doesn't seem many miles have been put on these? Surely Goodyear did all they could to eliminate another mess of a trailer tire.

It seems like an obvious decision price wise, but what say you?

  • I would trust them. Brother just installed them. Only time will tell.
They should all be fresh if that means anything.
  • If GY stands behind them, like they do with their heavier G-rated, even repairing a damaged trailer after blowout, I would take them. IMO, they are still unproven, with no long term reviews available. It seems they are designed similar to the Carlisle HDs, and Provider, another proven option.
