Trailer with Kids Bedroom AND Large Living Area????

Hi,
We are looking for a new trailer in the 30+ foot range. I want something with a separate bedroom for the kids AND a large living area--preferably with 2 slide outs in the living area.

There are a few on the market that meet this criteria; however, specifically I want a trailer that has something more than a love seat in the living area. A single love seat is too small and uncomfortable.

Ideally I would like something with a couch and a captains chair. I have yet to find something like this.

Alternatively I would settle for something with a single couch, but something bigger than a love seat.

OR....I could probably deal with something the size of a single love seat if it were theater style seating.

Any ideas???

Weight and tongue weight are not a limiting factor.

thanks for your help

Matt

  • We have a Coachman Liberty Edition bunkhouse (312bhdsle, I think). The double slide bunk room with bunks, futon, dinette, and tv is great for the children. It has a full sized couch and a pretty good sized dinette in the main area too.

Four adults and 6 children can easily spread out in that TT and not have to crowd each other. The children and their guests can watch TV, play cards, and spread out in the futons and bean bag chairs in the back, while the adults can have some peace in the main area.

I am not a huge fan of the brand. We've had a few warranty issues. But the floorpan and attractive exterior are really nice.
  • There are are some great new "mid-bedroom" models that have a second BR in the middle rather than the back like most bunk units do. They give you a great rear lounge area.
I think we'll be seeing more of these in the near future.
