Does this mean that a slide that sits up higher when extended, DOES have support under it when it IS retracted?
This reads like there are only 2 types of slides ... they're aren't, there are multiple types of slide mechanisms and more than just flush or elevated. My own Coachmen has a sofa slide so it's neither of these, and yes I use it and have used it for 5 years in both the retracted and extended positions.
