- doxiluvrExplorer IIOur first TT was a used 30 ft without any slides and in beautiful shape. Traded it in the following year for new TT with 2 slides. Have had for 8 years now with no leaks or problems. I don't think I could handle a TT with no slides anymore. Would need at least one in the living/dining area. But if you don't want to bother with slides that is your right and there are some out there. Every manufacturer makes some. Could do a computer search.

Don't think that I can go along with that "lot of problems". Certainly will agree that there are "some" problems - as with anything RV related - and those usually get posted for suggestions or information, but I would bet that better than 90% on here have trailers with slides and most have never had an issue. Would be an interesting poll.
Agree that they add weight. Our trailer noted in the sig has a dry weight of 5585# without the smaller second slide in the bedroom which is a large 4-door closet. The one with the closet is 5665#. Had we known that the model was available with the closet slide, we would have chosen not to go that route...didn't need the storage space, didn't want the extra weight and didn't want to spend extra money for something we neither needed nor wanted.
Yes, they need a certain amount of maintenance, but nothing to get worried about....some seal treatment from time to time and 2 or 3 times a season some slide lube. Having a slide topper eliminates virtually all of the water intrusion issues + leaves, misc debris.
Shopping for our HTT, DH was adamant NO slide. One thing and another, we changed plans and bought one with the "super slide". Our current TT also has the "super slide" and is deeper than the one on the HTT. No problems with either and we enjoy every inch of extra room.
Lots of reasons for choosing no slide, but from strictly a resale point if no other, a slide is a big selling feature. - dadmomhExplorer

Mine was my first trailer and it is an entry level model with a slide. We paid less than 19k. 26BH was around 17k though at the time.
Dealer was trying to screw you. My loaded 26BH was just a bit over $14K. The 267 was about $2500 more. - Mike_UpExplorer

Are there any travel trailer manufacturers that still make trailers without slides?
In the past few years it seems that there are no new ones in any of the RV dealers we have stopped at.

Love my Jayco Jay Flight 26BH camper in my signature. Really wanted to avoid the problems, weight, and expense of slide if I could. The 2 slide models I considered were the Jay Flight 28BHS but it was a 1/4 slide out and gained little room and liked the 26BH floorplan better. The Jay Flight Swift 267BHS was the second, but didn't care for it's smaller 60" sofa and it's lack of features/options next to the standard Jay Flight 26BH.
Jayco has many none slide model trailer in the Jay Flight line and Jay Feather line.
My 26BH has 6.3 CF Refrigerator, Ducted heat, Ducted AC, 30# propane, tub/shower surround, porcelain toilet, 26" LCD TV and DVD player (added Bluray Player), lighted entry steps, large door grab handle, 90 gallon fresh water capacity, DSI water heater, outdoor shower, outdoor speakers, Diamond front protector metal, skylite in bathroom, beatiful glass globe light over dinette, cherry wood stained real wood cabinets, nice medicine cabinet, and other stuff.
After seeing a lot of more expensive slide models, they were cheap looking and featureless next to my Jay Flight 26BH. It was very hard downgrading for more money, to have a slide with a bit more room but less livable floorplan and smaller seating areas.
So I didn't, I went with the 26BH. :)
Good luck. - myredracerExplorer IIKZ has a few as shown in below examples. OP doesn't say what length, price range or features they want. There are many out there without slides. Our first one, a Coachmen, didn't.
Our TT without a slide was 20' and had the kitchen directly across from the bathroom. It was awful because there was hardly any room between the counter and bathroom and you had to suck your stomach in to squeeze by each other. It got very annoying very quickly. That TT had a really nice picture window at the rear though, which we still miss a lot. If no slide, I would get one with the dinette seating across from the kitchen counter.
If looking for a TT without slides, I think it would be best to narrow down the brand you want and then look on their website. I don't think dealers stock a lot of TT without slides.

I use my small Cherokee TH the same way. Works great for the 3 Collies and myself. I'm in the process of replacing the floor in the slideout of the Wildwood 26bhss because of a leak.
Small to medium sized toy haulers generally do not have slides because they need the interior space for their toy. We have a 20 foot toy hauler that is like a regular trailer when is put back to normal. We no longer haul a motorcycle and have opted to keep it because it works so well for the two of us and our dog. When we stop for an overnighter at a Cracker Barrel we don't have to deploy slides. We just get in the trailer and enjoy. - jsdadExplorer

This past spring we bought a 26' Bunk House model from Grey Wolf. We were intentionally looking for one without slides and like this model a lot. Less weight, less maintenance and less chance for leakage.
We also bought a new 2014 Keystone 26+ft Hornet Hideout 210 LHS for the exact same reasons. Great unit, no regrets. - facoryExplorerSmall to medium sized toy haulers generally do not have slides because they need the interior space for their toy.
