How many of you travel with spare fuel for your TV? I'm sure for most of you with pickups, there is a pretty simple solution...toss a can in the truck bed. I have an SUV. Where would you recommend ...

During my research for a can thats the right size I came across pre-packaged spare fuel, which is an interesting concept. Super expensive, but you can toss a jug in the pass thru storage and be done. I have to wonder how long it'd be good for though.
Fuel stops often can be a bit worrisome and always ended up stopping more often than we needed to because of a few long stretches of no stations or what we found were miles out of the way or difficult to get into the pumps.
We fixed that by buying one of these..
15 GALLON FUEL STATION
along with a electric gas fuel pump, I was able to put the tank on some long 2x6s and put in the back of my truck.
This gives us an extra 140 miles of range..
You could mount it above your propane tanks and possibly gravity feed it, avoiding the need for a fuel pump..
We are pleased with it and wished we had done it 15 yrs ago.
