I built this lightweight aluminum bracket to safely carry some spare fuel on my camper's rear bumper. It is an added incentive to keep someone from tailgating. If they do anyway they might receive the Darwin award, removing themselves from the gene pool. ;)

When I was towing my camper with a gas powered car that was the only place I could put it as the tongue was full. I used it for both the car and generator, as we like to boondock in some pretty remote places.
Now that I tow with a diesel truck (with a 700+ mile range) I carry it in the bed to have spare gas for my 2 motorbikes, and generator also carried there.
