Travelling with fresh water

Has anybody a guess on on how much worse. Your mpg is travelling with a full load of water due to work commitments we tend not to get to our site to later in the evening so the time waiting to fill at the campgrounds we could be set up like Thanks
  • Look at it this way, if you traveled with a empty water tank and you broke down before campground you have no water for the toilet and sinks, what about rest stops, don't you want your own fresh water.
  • We usually travel with a full FW tank in our 96 Southwind.

It makes almost no difference in MPG.
  • Traveling with water may cut down on your fuel consumption by .01%.
