Travels for 2014

I'm planning a trip to Alaska. I've been there twice before on motorcycles, this will be the first time in a camper.

Zion National Park & Goblin Valley SP are on the 'list' so far.

When you get to Owensboro.... try Moonlite Barbecue... they not only have fantastic food they manufacture commercial BBQ equipment for resturants all over the world.

They even have barbequed mutton if you like it (It wasn't my favorite... but i wasn't going to miss a chance to try it. I loved the pork)

All of Owensboro has great BBQ resturants.

March 14-17 A friend and I are headed to Bristol Motor Speedway for the NASCAR races.

I have not seen but ONE other truck camper at a NASCAR race (didn't look too hard in those days). I have been attending races since 1997, attending several each year. The one truck camper I saw was in the infield at Kansas Speedway and it was a Lance 1055. The owner of the 1055 gave me the 15 cent tour. That prompted me to buy a 1055 that I eventually traded for a 1050S.

Destin, Florida...work our way down the Gulf Coast! Can't wait!

Might as well join us and continue on up to Alaska. Starting out last of May or first of June.

Thinking about a northern route trip out west. Crossing at Niagara then around Georgian Bay and back into the UP of Michigan and straight to Washington State (Olympic Nat). Returning home thru Oregon and southern part of Idaho where I hope to do some fishing. Only passing thru and will only fish the spot once if anyone know of a good public land stream spot. A trip to the Oregon Dunes to do some riding in March.
A trip to Alaska. Last two attempts had to be abandoned due to family reason. Third time lucky, I hope.

A few 3 and 4 day trips expected earlier this coming summer.

Starting in August we are on a mission. Cathy has been writing novels for several years and submitting her work to publishers. Her best book has been accepted by a publisher (NO easy task) and we will be on the "book tour" in late summer, visiting lots of book stores in the northeast.
Cathy will be doing her PR writer stuff while the dogs and I hang out around the TC.
