Great report.

I love Death Valley.

Did a 10-day backpacking trip there in '71 or '72.

A man needed to know his map and compass back then.

Leave camp in the morning with a gallon of water, and navigate to the next spring or die.

My buddy told me he was queer on the trip. That was weird. :)

Are the horrible feral donkeys still there?

Nasty, nasty animals.
