What The Whaz said. Simply captivating trip report in all aspects. Us westerners are hungry for any report that's not in the Southwest U.S. Jeanie and I have trod a lot of the same modus operandi when we are either traveling quickly to get somewhere or touring slowly to savor the moment. We admire your savvy and quick adaptability on the road. It's also instructive that you sniff out the same venues we try to find.
I've been to a lot of cities you quickly passed through with the L.A. Philharmonic on tour, but have not seen them from your perspective.
