Many thanks for all the lovely comments guys - glad you enjoyed the trip as we did.
Visil: A week on and we are still none the wiser about the Europe thing, but suffice to say, if you ever wanted to visit Europe, renting an RV would not be a problem - just apply for a Schengen visa and you can tour the mainland Europe countries.
Texas Shadow: Thanks for following. The Heroes of Telemark is one of Sally's favourites. I didn't tell her we were going to the actual factory, until we turned up and asked if she recognised it.
67Avion: Yes D, we did ferries to and from Denmark instead of the Great Belt bridge you used. The discussion you and I had following your trip helped when deciding upon a route after one of our booked ferries cancelled. Glad you got to see more of Helsingor than we did - it looked a nice little city.
Valhalla 360: Thanks.
jimh425: It is actually one of the reasons I put a bit more effort into the trip reports outside the US, because I know a lot of my friends in Canada and the US won't get a chance to see these places - so it is nice to share the journey.
cewillis: I was worried about letting Sally loose in the U-boat with all those controls to fiddle with Cal - she loves submarines. Good job nothing was armed in there.
Camper Jeff & Kelli: Oh yes, there has to be HP source. At times it seems a large proportion of the weight of our camper is made up of different types of sauces.
Silversand: We went into a small supermarket next to a fjord and found they actually had quite a good stock of various English Ales - ones I drink back home. Though they were 4 times the price, so that Timothy Taylor was one that came from Waitrose back home. I do have the same ale in the pub we use after our 4x4 weekends, but I mainly bought that bottle because it was on special offer at Waitrose, which given it is an expensive supermarket is how I now select beers. Glad you enjoyed the report.
Deb and Ed M: Thanks - glad you like the photos.
C.traveler2: Thanks.
Whazoo: Glad you enjoyed it Dave, and no - I'm keeping your trip reports at the top of the sticky - where they rightly deserve to be.
jefe 4x4: You will have seen a lot more of the cities than we did. Must have been great doing them on a orchestral tour. Looking forward to seeing your next trip report.
Hedge: Thanks.
Jmckelvy: Norway was actually more beautiful than I expected - I was very pleased. I was also pleasantly surprised by Sweden.
NVR2L82AV8: Sally would move there tomorrow if she could.
GoingThisWay: Thanks for following.
The Mad Norsky: Ah - so you have Norwegian blood. Does that explain your handle on this forum? Yes, Aurland and Sognefjord were stunning.
RickW: Ha ha - It's OK, I'm not trying to deliberately set the bar high - all trip reports are good and equally welcome.
soccrman: Holland was nice once we got off the highway. Apart from being in Amsterdam on business, my previous trips through Holland had just been flying through on the highway, so really hadn't seen the best of the country.
SouthpawHD: Glad you found the thread and enjoyed it.
Naio: Thanks.
Joerg68: Hi to you and Janina. Glad you enjoyed the report. We only had a change to touch lightly on your country in this trip, but really liked the Baltic coast - a part of Germany I had never seen before.
All the best,
Steve.
