I enjoyed this posting. Many memories were brought back from my time as a child and later a serviceman traveling in Europe. Lovely photos and good commentary, I especially enjoyed all the ferries and harbors. You must understand that I was a ferry Captain, still am just on-call now not permanent. Yes sometimes we hit the ramp a bit hard and yes it is a bad day but that is what the wing walls are for to keep us lined up. Thx for the posting and sharing your adventure!
