We traveled through this area in June and it was very apparent from the USFS campgrounds we stayed at in the eastern sierras that a RV that is shorter than 28' is at a distinct advantage both in finding a space and backing into one while missing rocks and trees. Nice to be a senior and paying $7.50 a day for the campsites.
