Sunday - Final full day of Expo
69 Avion kindly provided us with breakfast (me hanging around admiring their trailer mounted cooking station while looking hungry paid off :) ):

Someone else waiting for breakfast:

Not quite on the breakfast menu: btggraphix and Whazoo discuss 'donkey balls' as seen on a previous Whazoo trip report:

This looked like the way to travel on a Sunday morning, but bka0721 refused to extend his personal portage service beyond members of his immediate family:

Another chance to admire DJ's very well sorted rig. It would have been lovely to join him to drive some trails after Expo, but unfortunately we had brought a knife to a gun fight as far as four wheeling was concerned:

Many started to leave Sunday, but we still had classes to attend. We started by wandering around the show grounds again, and spotted 'Lots of Stuff' attending a 'round table' discussion, so we sat next to him to watch and found it was Chris Scott, Toby Savage and a few others discussing overlanding - another interesting talk (Chris is on the far left; Toby has a ladder sticking out of his head):

Next a bush mechanics introduction, followed by a healthy lunch:

After lunch we attended a great course on drowned vehicles, again using Camel trophy instructors. They had obtained an old Land Rover Discovery V8 and proceeded to fill its engine with water, including throwing its ECU in the lake, followed by demonstrating the correct technique for drying the engine out and getting it working again - don't try this with your Lexus:

People's choice of vehicles started to get more adventurous on the offroad driving course:

And the Camel Trophy teams finally finished their floating bridge:

Only a few of us stayed around Sunday night. The party was definitely over, but after a busy weekend it was good to have some quiet.
Stay tuned for the journey east...
