I've been waiting for the wrap up on your U.S. adventure so I could comment on the entirety of it. First of all, I am very envious that you had such a great trip. Despite the limitations of time and vehicle, you made a very impressive run at a lot of things to see and do. I hope you'll come back again next year with a bigger list and more time!
I am very sorry I was unable to make the Expo this year, especially since so many others from far away managed to do so, and I live less than 35 miles away! I very much had planned on it, but last minute family obligations frustrated my intentions. I do know I will be there at next year's event, come he** or high water. Hopefully you and Sally will make the return trip as well.
I've enjoyed living the Expo vicariously through your report and others, and having attended last year's event I can see it in my mind. I only wish I had been there to see it in person.
Anyway, thanks for telling the story through your eyes - it was a very enjoyable read.
