We spent three full days in Luray and traveled the Skyline Drive and the George Washington National Forest. Luray is a beautiful little town.
We headed over and touched a bit of West Virginia and found many Harley Shops.
Always came back to a nice camp fire with an adult beverage of a cool day on the bikes.

On Tuesday we drove up to Gettysburg Pa to The Gettysburg Campground. Love this place. We were there in April too. The owner is a Lance owner and all around good guy. He came right over to make sure we were all set getting settled and said to shout if we needed anything.
Weather was getting colder here so we didnot ride much. We saw the Visitors Center which is a must see if you haven't yet.Lots of history in this town....

And yes, there are baked potatos in that fire!!!!!

We spent one day in York PA at the HArley Davidson Plant. Very impressive.
On our last morning, as i did every morning, i made breakfast, eggs, toast etc. When we were done i did the dishes and used the drying matt on top of the stove. Well i guess i never shut the rear burner completely off. The picture shows it all. After we left for the day i had such a sick feeling thinking if we ever left with that on we would have returned to a pile of ash and debri. Lessons learned!!!

All in all we had a great trip. Never long enough and saddly the ole Lance 1010 is home, washed, cleaned, covered and winterized until the next adventure.
I cannot wait!!
