Trouble Finding Insurance for Custom Truck Camper

I purchased a pretty neat, used, truck camper that was custom built in 2002. I'm having trouble finding insurance for it though, because it's not a name brand. I could understand if it were some home-made looking thing. But this one is quite professional in appearance and function.

Does anyone know about this? I just can't believe there'd be no insurance out there for someone in my position.

My car ins, Geico would not do it because it's not a name brand. Other companies, like RV America wouldn't either but I'll try your recommendation thx.

It's worth it for me to insure $3500 or so as it would take a while to earn that much back up again. But I also like the emergency insurance too that pays for hotels etc, in case of damage while on vacation.

I just thought someone might have heard of this problem specifically...

If it is 14 years old is it really worth insuring??? How much is it worth? Nothing wrong with used campers, mine is a 1998 and I intend to use it for many years, but for $3500 it is just not worth bothering to insure.

How about the company that insures your pick-up? Failing that try FCIS, Farm and City Insurance.
