If a vehicle rolls that far, it's got problems.
My wife has an inaccurate perception of distance too but hey, if she thinks 2" is a foot, I'm not about to argue with her. :B
I got into the habit of using my parking brake many years ago when my 1969 Comet slipped out of Park and rolled into a police car in our high school parking lot. The C4 transmission had a weak parking pawl. Now I use it even when moving an inch or two when hitching up. Makes life easier.
