Truck Bed Camper Battery Installation Pictures
There has been a few threads lately about where to put a battery in campers that don't have one, and, adding a second battery to those that already have a battery.
My camper does not have a battery. This is what I did about it:

This is a type 24 Deep Cycle battery in a plastic battery box. The power cable has a fuse on the positive lead and is terminated with Anderson power pole plugs.

The second photo shows the power cable. The power pole plug goes to the battery. It has a standard 7 pin plug that goes into the rear hitch 7 way jack. The chrome plated connector plugs into the camper.
The front part of the cable that splits into a "Y" is covered with plastic sleeving material that I got at either Radio Shack or Lowes. I attached a nylon strap and clip just below the Y so the cable can be clipped to the truck bed tie down to take any stess off the electrical connections.
The last two photos show everything hooked up.
