For my Bigfoot they have specific recommendations for where to support the truck camper when it is off the truck (3 4x4s and a sheet of plywood). Your camper may have similar manufacturer recommendations.
I like to sit mine on the jack stands and 4x4 because it is a lot more stable (I only take the camper off at the house) and so I feel better about ir.
