Truck camper sadness

Was cleaning out a shed when I came across the torklift tiedowns, fast guns and 4' superhitch truss for my Lance. Stood there looking at them and remembered how much I missed the TC. Had to give it away to a guy who said that he may put it on a flatbed. The interior looked brand new but the structure, especially where the stable lift was fastened to, just had too much water damage to safely load and unload :( . I really miss having a TC, but after that the DW won't even consider one. Got a thousand bucks from the insurance company, but don't even like to think about that :M :M Great memories though. Guess I'll just put them on craigslist so I don't have to be reminded of what I no longer have. Gary

    Wife and I had a TC in 2002 -- before kids. We loved it and still talk about it. It was a Lance but forget the model (8 something). It was a 1992 model, and we paid $600 for it. Got from original owner -- and was Garage Kept ! IT was so nice, and yet only lasted us a year until she popped with our 1st yung'un'. We've had TT's and now a C since. Thought it's nice to have the room in the larger units, I still fondly remember the time in our TC.
