Unless there is a return period stipulated in your sales contract, and you're still within it, you're pretty much out of luck.
In order for something to be considered a "warranty return" the manufacture has to agree that it is a warranty issue. You already have your answer from the manufacturer on that.
The only way they will take the camper back under warranty is if you can find an egregious enough issue that cannot be fixed, such as a chronic leak. Or maybe if you get a lawyer.
