The cynic in me sees the growth in the industry due to the boomer generation as well as a trend of younger consumers discovering the joys of travel as a deterrent to any real progress. The RV industry is experiencing an unprecedented era of growth and can hardly crank out the units fast enough. As long as demand exceeds availability there is no incentive for the manufacturers to do anything but reap profits. I see quality of materials and workmanship as well as design features to be somewhat stagnant.
Industry did no better when sales were less robust and the first thing they did when sales really fell off in 08 was eliminate tech support and technician training.
