truck campers require registration like a trailer camper?
Do cab over pickup truck campers require registration like a trailer camper? like why are there titles & type of titles just like cars salvaged ,rebuilt,or clean titles ect. thanks TB

Depends on the state you live in. Missouri does not require title or registration as it considers a slide in truck camper as cargo not a camper. All manufacturers of slide in truck campers do provide an MSO manufacturers statement of origin when new to the purchasing dealer. I know that if you live in a non title/registration state the Truck Camper Warehouse keeps the MSO in there files if you purchase a new camper from them or a used one they we’re the original purchasing dealer of. If you buy a used camper and live in a registration state and purchase from a non registration getting the MSO may prove futile, and applying for title without it can be a mess of paperwork. If you’re lucky you live in a non titling/registration state.
