Why would you put the truck license plate on your OFFROAD POP UP trailer?- notevenExplorer IIIHome driver license and registration has reciprocity in USA and Canada. Local weights and dimension regulations do not.

Registration of the camper is not required in NH (it certainly is not a vehicle).
Because the camper covers the truck plate, I make a color copy of the plate each year and put it on the camper to preclude constantly moving the plate.
You'd be far better off having a hidden plate than having a forged license displayed.
To the OP: No registration in PA - thebrainExplorer

according to you're chart I'm good in both AL & FL thanks
To me it sounds so silly to have a tag on the truck and require a different tag on the slide-in truck camper haha... I have never had a slide-in truck camper but I assume this will hide the rear state tag on the truck... If this was the case for me I would probably move the truck tag to the trailer so it would be seen???
Here in Virginia I have permanent tag for the small utility trailer I have and also one for the fifth wheel trailer I have...

I have a chance to obtain a none clear title TC it's a flooded title
water probably ruined most of the inside. it mite be worth refurbing. what do you Guys think. - jdc1Explorer IINot required in California
- ScottGNomadWhen we had a TC it was the law to lic. it here in Washington. Later, I found out that LEO's really didn't know it was reqd. I could have gotten along just fine without it.
- Fisher_BillExplorerIn Oregon we have a title and registration for pick up campers and we bought ours with a damaged title, it was knocked off the stands and the guy we bought from used to work at a large trailer company (that went down on 2008).
Anyway he bought it at an auction and repaired it thus the damaged title.
At least with this method you know if your rig had previous issues, if it was not in place it would be easy to pass off rigs that had damage in the past to an unsuspecting buyer. - LwiddisExplorer IIMotor vehicles are regulated by states. You don’t give your state in your post or profile. Impossible to answer.
- Kayteg1Explorer III think having copy of plates breaks some laws.
Cops don't disturb campers as they have other priorities.
When I go with TC, my front plate is fully covered by generator. Made over 20k miles with it to date.
On last 600 miles trip I had no generator, so I did not bother with moving rear plate on the camper.
Semi trucks have rear plate invisible, but then they display registration stickers on front. - tlowe43qExplorerRegistration of the camper is not required in NH (it certainly is not a vehicle).
